Essentially a social media marketing funnel is designed to guide your target audience from a potential customer to taking action and purchasing from your brand or business.
There are four points of a social media marketing funnel:
1.Brand Awareness:
The top or the widest part of the funnel represents the customers who have just found your brand online. This is where it is important to show the value of your brand. Your content should instantly engage, educate or entertain. This will enable these new customers to move down the funnel to the next step.
2. Engagement:
The engagement stage is when potential customers engage with your content. Such as following, likes, comments, sharing or tagging posts. By producing high quality content it will show these potential customers the value and solution of your brand.
3. Consideration:
Consideration is the third stage of your funnel. At this point your audience are likely considering your brand and potentially your competitors. Use this stage to answer questions they may have. Share a post about the benefits or solutions to your services or products.
4. Action:
Action is when the customer makes the purchase from your business. Congratulations you have successfully used a social media marketing funnel!
